Dr James Tang

Dr James Tang is an accredited nephrologist and transplant physician in Sydney. He is a Senior Staff Specialist at St Vincent’s hospital in Sydney with special interests in transplantation. Dr Tang is a caring and compassionate physician, committed to providing excellent personalised care to his patients. He manages all aspects of kidney disease.

Dr Tang completed his Bachelor of Medicine at the University of Newcastle. He completed his Nephrology training at the RPA, Westmead and Concord hospitals. He has completed his PhD at the University of Sydney in solid organ transplantation.

He is a clinician researcher and is actively involved in research and teaching. He has published in international peer reviewed journals, including Transplantation and American Journal of Transplantation and is a scientific reviewer for various journals.

Dr Tang is multilingual and can speak Mandarin.

James works on Tuesdays.
