Appointment/ Gap Fee and Cancellation Fee for Psychologists
预约/差额和取消费用
If an appointment is cancelled within 24 hrs of being confirmed by our receptionists, it is unlikely this appointment time can be filled. Late cancellations mean that other clients miss the opportunity for an appointment and result in a loss of income for our psychologists. With this in mind, Campsie Medical Practice has a cancellation policy for all of our Psychologists that are on Mental Health Care Plans, seeing a psychologist under Medicare (Better Access).
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, you must provide us with at least one business day’s notice to avoid a cancellation fee ($50 fee for Jeffrey Lai and $150 for Natalia Yee), which is payable and due before your next session. If cancellation fees are not made, you will not be able to book your next appointment session.
For initial consultations, our psychologists provide treatment and do not provide reports. Our reception staff will inform you of fees prior to your consultation, and payment is expected before your consultation, so arrive 10 minutes before your session starts.
Please Note: No Medicare rebate is available for cancelled sessions.
Rescheduling Policy
Any rescheduling must be done outside of the 24-hour timeframe prior to your original appointment. Last-minute rescheduling within 24 hours of your appointment or on the day will be subject to our cancellation policy and incur cancellation fees of $150 for Natalia or $50 for Jeff, unless otherwise advised. Please note that rebooking may not be permitted should you reschedule more than twice in a row, and you may need to seek services elsewhere.
