Having a safe and effective COVID-19 vaccine is one way we can protect our community against coronavirus. COVID-19 vaccines help to prevent serious illness and death from COVID-19, and they are free for everyone in Australia.


Campsie Medical Practice is an approved vaccination provider for COVID-19 vaccines. We are happy to help provide COVID-19 immunisations for our local area and wider community.

COVID Eligibility

Vaccine rollout COVID-19 vaccines are being rolled out to people in phases, with those most at risk receiving their vaccinations first.


To find out if you are eligible to receive the vaccine now, visit https://covid-vaccine.healthdirect.gov.au/eligibility and complete the COVID-19 Vaccine Eligibility Checker. You can then call 9789 3333 to register your interest to receive the vaccine.


Covid Vaccinations for currently rolling out for Phase 1B.  Pfizer is available for 40-59 year olds, and those meeting the criteria for occupation or medical conditions.


Astrazeneca COVID-19 vaccines are available for those over 18 years of age.


Booking your appointment

COVID-19 vaccinations are voluntary and free.  You can book online via Automed Systems. We are currently not taking Pfizer bookings until further notice.

When booking online for your first  dose, you will get an automatic second dose appointment sent as an sms. Please ensure you complete your COVID-19 declaration form and new patient form prior to your appointment.


You will get an SMS to confirm your appointment dates.


Please reply Yes to secure your appointment. 


The current government guidelines are that Astra Zeneca COVID-19 vaccinations are recommended to be 6 weeks apart and Pfizer COVID-19 vaccinations are recommended to be 3 weeks apart.


Preparing for your vaccination

Before your vaccination appointment, you should make sure your details are up to date with Medicare.


If you don’t have your account set up, you can:


On the day of your vaccination

You must wear a mask to your appointment.


You must be of good health with no symptoms related to COVID-19.


Please make sure that you are not waiting on a COVID-19 test result and that you are NOT in isolation.


If this is not your first vaccination, please bring your vaccination certificate to verify when your last vaccination dose occurred.


Please ensure that you have filled in your new patient consent form, COVID-19 vaccination consent form and Better Consult survey.


Please wear clothing that is comfortable where you can easily make your arm ready.


You will receive confirmation of your second dose on the day and will be given "After your COVID vaccination handouts" as below:

You are required to wait for an observation time of at least 15 minutes or 30 minutes if you have a history of anaphylaxis.


There will be follow-up notifications from Smartvax to document if there are any reactions post-vaccine.
